    FMA Partners are seeking an Executive Assistant & Office Manager to join our brand new seaside office on a full time basis.

    We specialise in delivering the very best in Business, Strategic & Tax Advisory services, and pride ourselves on bringing the WOW to our clients daily. We have an incredible team across our Cronulla & CBD offices – we’re not your average accounting firm, and you'll see exactly why when you meet us!

    About the Role:

    This is a key, high-trust position where you’ll work closely with our Directors, supporting their day-to-day effectiveness while ensuring the office runs like clockwork. It’s a varied role with lots of ownership and autonomy – perfect for someone who thrives on structure, helping others succeed, and enjoys wearing many hats.

    Your days will be dynamic – from managing inboxes and schedules, preparing meeting materials, to assisting with internal finance and HR tasks, and keeping the office humming. Your role will be integral to our leadership operations and internal culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide dedicated EA support to the Directors, including inbox and diary management, scheduling, meeting preparation, and prioritisation

    • Assist with personal tasks, ensuring the handling of sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality

    • Manage internal administrative processes, supporting office operations and ensuring organised, welcoming spaces

    • Assist with internal finance administration, including invoice coordination, AR and AP review

    • Support HR functions such as onboarding, recruitment coordination, and maintaining records

    • Oversee the marketing calendar and review content to support our brand presence

    • Be the go-to person for the day-to-day office needs

    • Provide ad hoc support to the wider leadership team as required

    About You:

    • You bring experience in a similar EA, Office Manager or Practice Coordinator role – experience in professional services is a plus

    • You are a tech-savvy organiser, confident with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and cloud-based tools

    • You have excellent communication skills – written and verbal – and present with professionalism

    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels

    • Exceptional planning, organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills - you can juggle competing priorities, whilst staying calm & focused

    • You're known for being proactive, trustworthy and discreet – a true right hand

    • You take pride in making an office run efficiently and love helping people do their best work

    • We’ll allocate you client work with a mixture of client groups that are interesting and diverse and will have support from Managers.

    • You enjoy completing management accounts, financial statements, tax returns and helping your clients on day to day business affairs.

    • You enjoy having a lot to do and gain energy from being busy, but without compromising accuracy.

    • You are happy to work collaboratively with our entire team to deliver on our business deadlines and team goals.    

    About You:

    • You will have commenced your CA or CPA qualification

    • You have some experience working for a Chartered Accounting firm

    • Intermediate Excel skills, plus be more than dangerous with Word and of course, a Xero Hero.

    • You will have a hunger for knowledge too!

    This is a hybrid role, working across both Business Services and Tax Advisory.

    • We’ll allocate you a client base with a mixture of client groups that are interesting & diverse, and you will have an ability to foster fantastic client relationships 

    • You will anticipate and ensure that client needs are attended to quickly with up-to-date and accurate advice, you know how to make a client feel the love! 

    • You will have solid experience in researching and writing detailed tax advice using a variety of industry resources. Your ability to translate complex tax regulations into clear, actionable insights and written advice will be essential for helping our clients succeed.

    • You enjoy having a lot to do and gain energy from being busy, but without compromising accuracy. We also understand you have a life outside of work 

    • You will mentor a team of exceptional up & coming accountants that are effective and consistent in delivering great results – they are also great people! 

    • You are happy to work collaboratively with our entire team to deliver on our business deadlines and team goals 

    • You’ll get involved in Advisory projects across the Business, Strategic and Tax services, and drive innovation in Business Services methodologies 

    • You need to be CA or CPA qualified, have experience working for a Chartered Accounting firm and have Advanced Excel skills, plus be more than dangerous with PowerPoint, Word and of course, Xero
